Why "The Beginning" Stayed With Me

Every story deserves the chance to be told. The challenge has never been a lack of stories. It's been a lack of opportunity.

The Beginning opens a window into a journey many people in Western society may never have the chance to experience firsthand.

Its creators have said this story would not have been possible to tell without AI. That stayed with me.

So much of the conversation around AI centers on what it might replace. This film quietly asks a different question. What stories become possible because of it?

Technology, by itself, doesn't create meaning. People do. AI simply becomes another way for those voices to reach us.

Perhaps the greatest promise of AI isn't that it tells our stories for us. Perhaps it's that it helps more stories find their way to us.
